Thüringer Sporthilfe Athletes Awards Ceremony at Harry’s
On June 17, 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting this year’s Thüringer Sporthilfe Athlete Awards Ceremony at Harry’s in Eisfeld. Around 70 guests came together to celebrate the achievements of Thuringia’s young athletes. The event was opened by Kristina Vogel, a two-time Olympic champion, 17-time track cycling world champion and Chair of the Thüringer Sporthilfe Foundation.
Together with our Managing Director, Florian Schebitz, she honored the outstanding achievements of 44 young athletes from Thuringia. The recognition was well deserved: Last season, the honorees won a total of 10 gold, two silver and eight bronze medals across eight winter sports.
Since 1997, the Thüringer Sporthilfe Foundation has supported talented young and elite athletes in Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic sports on their journey from promising talent to Olympic or world champion.
In addition to the athletes, attendees included their coaches, board members and other special guests, such as District Administrator Sven Gregor, Mayor Christoph Bauer, State Secretary David Möller, and Olympic champions Kati Wilhelm and Silke Kraushaar-Pielach.
Before the awards ceremony, we gave our guests a tour of our production facilities and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how our razor blades are made.
Winter sports hold a special place in Thuringia, and we are proud of our state’s strong commitment to supporting the next generation of athletes. It was a great pleasure to host this year’s awards ceremony at our facility.
We wish all the honorees continued success and all the very best for their athletic careers!
