On June 17, the family celebration of Harry’s in Eisfeld took place with almost 800 participants. All employees accompanied by up to four family members were invited.

The celebrations began with the cutting of a giant Thuringian bratwurst by our managing directors Gordon Bittig and Florian Schebitz. With an impressive weight of 61kg and a length of 96 meters, it filled about 600 stomachs and left no one hungry. Of course, other delicacies were offered as well as a diverse selection of cool drinks, coffee, and cake, with vegetarians and vegans also being catered for. To round off the culinary offer, there was also an ice cream truck with delicious ice cream and a popcorn machine with which fresh popcorn was prepared. Both were particularly popular.

In addition, the family members of our employees who were present had the opportunity to get to know the company better and gain an insight into razor blade production and the workplace of their relatives. Numerous guided tours were offered for this purpose during the festival. Many employees were involved in the planning in advance as well as on the day itself and guided the interested people through the production areas.

The little ones were also perfectly provided for: There were entertaining attractions such as face painting, glitter tattoos as well as an XXL bouncy castle.
