US Consul General visited HARRY'S
On December 7, 2022, we were pleased to welcome Kenichiro (Ken) Toko as a guest at our facility in Eisfeld. He is the U.S. Consul General for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia at the U.S. Consulate General in Leipzig and got his first direct insight into the world of razor blade production at our factory. He was accompanied by his press and public relations assistant, Ms. Hühndorf, as well as bodyguards from the LKA.
After a friendly welcome and a brief introduction, our management showed Mr. Toko around the company. Of course, there was also a detailed factory tour afterwards, during which the US Consul General was able to follow the entire manufacturing process himself – from raw steel to the finished blade.
He was visibly impressed and complimented both the important role of HARRY’S for the region and the great development of the last years. HARRY’S, he said, is a good example of the close economic relations between Germany and the USA, which must be further promoted in the future.
After Timothy Eydelnant’s visit in May 2019, Ken Toko was the second U.S. Consul General we had the pleasure of welcoming to our Factory.
